I just did a super fun photo shoot in LA featuring my beautiful friend, actress and artist Alia Shawkat. I asked her friend, actress and director Sarah Ramos,
to join us as well. What dear ladies.
Michael Cera jumped into the mix when he stopped by to help Adrian with a furniture piece he was creating for Alia in her garage.

Enjoying these California days. This morning we grubbed on La Cantina breakfast burritos and tripped on the architecture of beachside college town, Isla Vista. Home to USCB. Wandered around and it all felt ultra College dayz movie-esque. Young folks feeling free in Pajamas with massive smoothies. Lots of bikes and surfboards. Youth island.
Being back in California makes me reflect on life in Paris way more than when I'm actually living there. I tend to channel old Hollywood vibes when photographing women friends of mine in Paris. Here's one featuring one of my Paris muses, Hélène. I want to see this photo as a painting using a Hockney palette in LA.
Japanese artist, Yayoi Kusama, transformed the children's art center at Brisbane's Gallery of Modern Art with the help of tiny hands. She offered children colorful dot stickers and asked them to apply them to 'The Obliteration Room'. This interactive installation was first commissioned by the Queensland Art Gallery for Kids' in 2002.
